Business IT Services & Support

About the Role

We are seeking someone to take responsibility for inbound support from our clients on how to use our software products.
 
As a small, dedicated team we take pride in providing outstanding service to our clients.
 
Hours of the role are flexible, initially part time with potential to be full time for the right candidate.
 
Potential also exists to expand the role further as your knowledge base grows.
 

Broad Responsibilities May Include

    • Providing telephone, remote and occasionally onsite client support
    • Managing, monitoring and updating support tickets
    • Troubleshooting, diagnosis and rectification of customer issues
    • Setup of various hardware and software
    • Support for Android and Apple mobile devices
    • Creating and maintaining customer system documentation
    • Deploying and configuring virtual PBX phone systems and IP Phones
    • Deploying, upgrading or configuring wireless and wired networks

Skills and Experience

    • Outstanding verbal and written inter-personal skills
    • Enjoys solving client problems
    • Strong IT base (2+ years experience)
    • Administration, deployment & troubleshooting of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Exchange Online, Microsoft 365
    • Remote support tools such as TeamViewer
    • Printer installation, configuration & troubleshooting
    • Deploying and configuring VPS
    • Linux based operating systems
    • Network configuration and rollout

Software Developer

About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Full Stack C++ or Web Developer to join our software development team on a permanent basis to work on enhancing, maintaining and extending our range of software products. Either a part time or full time role is available and flexible hours can be negotiated.
 
Marango is a small dynamic team who are passionate about new opportunities and take pride in providing quality software and support to its clients. We are excited to bring onboard a similarly motivated developer who is willing to expand their role as their knowledge base grows.
 
Being a small team, you will have the opportunity to work in many roles such as developer, designer, business analyst, tester, IT support, sales and application support. If getting caught in the corporate grind is not for you, then Marango may be just the ticket.
 
Key Responsibilities
 
    • Maintenance & enhancement of existing software packages
    • API Extension
    • Mobile and Website App development
    • Working within existing ticketing, documentation and coding standards
Skills and Experience
 
    • C++ or PHP/JS Frameworks
    • Experience with SQL query creation and optimistion
    • Familiarity with source control systems such as Git
    • Familiarity with software development processes
    • Ability to read and understand existing or legacy code
    • Problem solving and debugging skills
Experience with any of the following technologies is also desirable: MySQL, Visual Studio, wxWidgets, Vue.JS, Laravel
 

Any knowledge of the accounting, bookkeeping, grain trading, bulk haulage or export industries would also be highly beneficial but not required.
